Detroit is coming together for something powerful.

The Autism in the D Weekend of Inclusivity is more than an event—it’s a movement focused on awareness, connection, and creating spaces where everyone belongs.

As a vendor participating this year, I’m excited to be part of a weekend designed to support families, celebrate differences, and build community.

Event 1: Inscape Immersive Sensory Experience (April 11)

This hands-on sensory event gives families a chance to explore a future-focused adaptive sensory gym.

What to expect:

  • Interactive sensory stations
  • Activities focused on sight, sound, touch, and more
  • A safe, inclusive environment for kids to explore

📍 Location: Chandler Park Field House
🕒 Time: 10 AM – 3 PM

Event 2: Detroit Autism Walk – Roar for Autism (April 12)

The weekend continues with a community walk celebrating strength, unity, and awareness.
Highlights:

  • Family-friendly walk (1.31 miles)
  • Community engagement
  • Fundraising and awareness efforts
